Snail In Blue

Who the hell is not fascinated by macro world photography... yeah, that is the different matter that who is able to pull it off, depending on interest to do it and/or equipment one have. Recently I built few lighting gadgets out of LEDs to do some trick shot photography ... and it was the time of rainy season. We the hostelers use to get a lot of insects at our living area in rain. After long working week, my friend Siddhant and I decided to click few photographs of rainy creatures... we discussed and observed about possibilities without harming oneself and creature... we finally decided to have a Photo-shoot of Snail. Yes, because it is slow and steady to be captured, so we won't be in hurry ... as its my first time doing such photo-shoot ... and secondly snail is harmless. When I grabbed this one fella and kept it above my study table, it started moving away ... And in mean time I was searching for some base to keep it... this particular snail was moving really faster than predicted. We both were amazed by our speed comparative to this snail... and believe me, we sere loosing the race ...

Well, jokes apart ... We had a short session of 15-20 minutes, trying out different light angles and colors and setups. And boom ... and yeah ... it is laptop lid where this snail is placed for photography... that we figured out to use after a long 10 minutes search. And here it is ... and that was only possible because of quick thinking smartness of Siddhant Shrivastav ...
